WPC Team India represents India since 2021 in the World Photographic Cup (List of WPC Teams), an esteemed global competition that celebrates excellence in photography across various categories.
Photographers can apply to join WPC Team India by submitting their work during the open submission period. Please note that submission does not guarantee selection; the final team is chosen by the WPC Team India committee.
No, the submission fee has been waived to ensure accessibility for all participants. However, WPC Team India covers a required €450 fee for participation in the WPC 2025 competition.
A participation fee was initially considered to help cover team entry and administrative costs. However, to make the competition more inclusive, we decided to waive the fee, ensuring that photographers from all backgrounds can participate without financial barriers.
We have set up a "Pay-It-Forward" link for donations. Those who wish to support WPC Team India can contribute to help us cover the participation fee.
Yes, you can. WPC Team India and Buenos Muzik management have enabled an option on the team registration form to apply for the role of Team Captain. If you have selected this option, you will be considered for the role after a brief background check.
You can support WPC Team India by donating. Your contributions help us cover the WPC participation fee and keep the competition free for all participants.
If selected, you will represent India in the World Photographic Cup. While travel for events or exhibitions may be required, travel expenses will be your responsibility unless WPC Team India can secure funding for your trip.
You retain full rights to your submitted photographs. However, by submitting, you grant permission for your images to be used on the WPC website, in global photography exhibitions, and in WPC-related publications.
Yes, your contact details will be shared with the World Photographic Cup Association to facilitate communication and participation in the competition.
The WPC Team India Governing Committee has final authority over all matters related to the competition, including team selection, image usage, administration, and pre-selection.
If you are unable to attend the award ceremony, the Team Captain will send your certificate or prize via courier. The shipping and postage costs will be covered through our donation funds.
Selected and winning photographs will be featured on the official World Photographic Cup website (worldphotographiccup.org), in news articles, exhibitions, and printed publications.
